Kids need whole, unprocessed real food.

To avoid GMO's, one must stay away from, soy, cottonseed oil, canola oil, and corn, and animals fed such things, just for starters. This rules out most conventional restaurant food and lots of stuff at the grocery store too...

Children with their developing bodies, face the greatest risk from the potential dangers of GM foods, as they are more susceptible to allergies, nutritional deficiency, antibiotic resistant diseases and other unforeseen, possibly horrifying, side-effects. Schools in the UK and parts of Europe banned GM food years ago. Parents, in response to the obesity and diabetes epidemics, ADD/ADHD, and the increased understanding of the impact of food and behavior, are learning to adapt their families diet to a few new rules... Some school systems have made healthy changes to their meal programs in recent, and new parents are consistently the largest group of new buyers of organic food each year.
